‘Game of Thrones’ Finale Prediction: What will be the fate of The Mother of Dragons?

“Game of Thrones” is finally in the endgame now. We are finally going to see the end of this epic saga, with 72 episodes down and one last to go.

“Burn them all” The Mad King’s dying wish was finally fulfilled by his daughter in the last episode “The Bells” by literally burning down The King’s Landing to ashes and thus becoming the Queen of Ashes. Along with Danny going full blown Mad Queen we witnessed the deaths of some major Characters: Varys, The Hound, The Mountain, Euron Greyjoy, The Golden Company, Jaime and Cersei Lannister. But still, there are a lot of major players left in the game whose fates are yet to unfold.

But Today I am not going to talk about all of them rather I am going to Focus on the two main Characters Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen who we thought is the Song of Ice and Fire all about. So let’s start…

First, let’s talk about the Prophecy of Azor Ahai which States that –

“Darkness lay over the world and a hero, Azor Ahai, was chosen to fight against it. To fight the darkness, Azor Ahai needed to forge a hero’s sword. He laboured for thirty days and thirty nights until it was done. However, when he went to temper it in water, the sword broke. He was not one to give up easily, so he started over.
The second time he took fifty days and fifty nights to make the sword, even better than the first. To temper it this time, he captured a lion and drove the sword into its heart, but once more the steel shattered.
The third time, with a heavy heart, for he knew beforehand what he must do to finish the blade, he worked for a hundred days and nights until it was finished. This time, he called for his wife,
Nissa Nissa, and asked her to bare her breast. He drove his sword into her living heart, her soul combining with the steel of the sword, creating Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes”

Now all of us assumed that the great darkness was The Night King, then we thought it was Cercie but with last episode its clear that the show intended Danny to be it’s Big Bad for the series and in order to defeat her Azor Ahai is needed. Most of the people watching the series and reading the books have always thought Jon Snow to be the one and I think the same.

According to me, Danny is both Nissa Nissa and the Darkness in this scenario. She is both the woman Jon loves and the Evil that is threatening the Realm. In order to do the right thing and to save everyone, Jon is going to sacrifice his love and would plunge Longclaw into Danny’s Heart.

But that doesn’t mean that Jon gets the Iron Throne. In my opinion, Jon being the honourable Man he is, he will punish himself as he killed the Queen he bent the Knee to which is treason in his eyes. He will go back to The Wall and will live out his days as the Man of the Knights Watch in order to pay for the crime he committed.

Now the question arises that who will get the Iron Throne? My bets are on Sansa Stark- Lady of Winterfell. Who better to rule Westeros than the student of two great players in the Game of Thrones ( Cercie Lannister and Littlefinger).

So, This is what I think would be the end of The Game Of Thrones. Please comment to share your thoughts about the endgame and what you think about my theory for the same.
